Thanam Industry Sdn Bhd collaborates with YSP Industries Sdn Bhd for the event Greenstopia 2.0. at Kepong Metropolitan Park to be held on October 13, 2024. The motive of our participation will be creating a great positive awareness in the public on the importance of recycling and promoting sustainable practices to make Mother Earth a greener space by recycling items and reducing litter.<\/span>

\"Green<\/span><\/p>

In this event, people from various Malaysian regions will gather and provide their collected recyclable items, such as tins and cans, to exchange for fresh produce like fruits and vegetables. We are planning to collect recyclable items such as newspapers, used papers, boxes, plastic bottles, aluminum tins, and metal cans. We will also accept electronic waste such as laptops, modems, TVs, cameras, wires, etc. Our team members will be wearing dark green T-shirts on the event day. The grand event will be socialized by media people.<\/span>

As part of this event, we will provide a part of plastic rubbish bags to pack the recyclable items and other necessary equipment, like a weighing machine for collecting and processing recyclables collected during the event. Along with event arrangements, packaging carton boxes will be given a by YSP Industries to pack recycling items for sending them to our scrap yard. We are providing transportation at no cost for collecting recyclable goods.<\/span><\/p>

A supervisor and co-workers from Thanam Industry Sdn Bhd will be involved in the event. Thanasekaran Kumaraguru, representing Thanam Industry Sdn Bhd, will be hosting recycling education and customer interaction during the event. Based on the guidance from our team members, ground workers will sort the items collected that are to be sent for recycling. Even small contributions to recycling can have a significant positive impact on the environment.
