E-Waste is nothing but electronic waste obtained from various products like cell phones, computer parts and other gadgets that we use .Every year people dump thousands of cell phones collectively in the world. This has become a growing concern because old models of cell phones and gadgets have virtually no use in the industry. The usage of computers and other electronic goods is highly prevalent because of their low costs. People do not believe in repairing these gadgets as they find it cheaper to just buy new ones. Most of this E Waste is dumped in landfills and water resources.<\/p>

Furthermore, the toxic acids and chemicals in E -Waste find their way into the environment, namely soil and groundwater, thereby polluting the environment.<\/p>

How can E-Waste be recycled?<\/b><\/p>

\"E-WasteElectronic waste that is collected by scrap metal dealers during E-Waste Disposal are segregated according to the type. These items are later packed by these dealers and sent to appropriate recycling units. Not all of the electronic waste products are considered scrap. Some of them will still be in a working condition.<\/p>

Once the gadgets are dismantled, products that can be used are separated from the scrap. Some of the reusable parts from these gadgets are sent to the refurbished market so that they can be used as components in manufacturing new goods.<\/p>

With the high number of electronic goods being manufactured every year, the amount of waste from these goods is also consistently increasing. Most electronic goods are neither biodegradable nor do they perish over a period of time. They also cause considerable amount of damage to the environment by forming landfills and filling up the ocean beds.
