Scraps can be used to describe any materials which can be recycled after is it no longer useful for what it was originally intended. As compared to wastes, scraps do have value as demand and prices for metals increase consistently, making recycled scraps a much sought-after solution.
E-wastes are also known as electronic wastes or WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). They can be any broken or unwanted electrical or electronic appliances. Treated properly, these are valuable sources for secondary raw materials. Part of the recycling processes involves the separation of metals, plastics or circuit boards contained in these appliances.
